Fire Shows
Poi Passion has spent many years perfecting the art of fire poi manipulation and creating explosive, mesmerising shows.
We bring into our shows new disciplines that we have merged with our fire poi performances, such as Tai Chi, contemporary dance, salsa, kung fu, street dance, yoga, acrobatics etc etc, the list is constantly growing!
We work closely with our music so as to perform a perfect show no matter what the theme, from hypnotic bellydance whilst working with Phil Thornton, to cheesy 80's disco, we can provide a show for any occasion and music taste!
Our dance troupe train constantly to help perfect their skill, and work hard on the choreography of any show piece. We can take you on a mesmerising journey of fire and light with our troupes unique fire poi style and performances!
Please note for the main show our dancers only come in pairs.
Alternatively if you don't want a show our solo performers are superb whether they perform on stage or mix and mingle, they can either freestyle fire poi to your music or bring their own in whatever genre you would like, they will give your event a mystical and powerful atmosphere and leave your crowd remembering the occasion forever.
Poi Passion performs at the following events/occasions and many more!:

- Fireworks night stage show and solo performances,
- School/youth group stage show, solo performances and workshops.
Equipment used in most shows
Fire poi, double poi, fire skipping ropes, poi ropes, fire swords, fire fingers, fire spinners, fire fans, fire palms, glow poi, fire hula hoops, fire headdress – this list is constantly being added to as we create new shows and more daring equipment!
Poi Passion always ensures that all equipment is safe. Safety checks will be taken before each show. Please read about our “safety session” on the Safety Page and our insurance policies below.
About our Insurance and Safety Policy
You are in safe hands when you book Poi Passion to perform at your event.
All of Poi Passion's performers have Full Public Liability covering £10,0000 and Fire Insurance covering £5,0000 - so we are highly insured. We always put safety first; before each event a “risk assessment” will be taken to ensure that the event is safe to perform in.
Fire can be dangerous and Poi Passion takes this very seriously ... fire must be respected and treated with caution. Poi Passion uses the NAFAA guidelines as guidance. Strict safety is paramount and our performers are highly trained in all aspects to perform in our shows.
NB: Poi Passion has the right to change or stop any performance due to poor environment risk conditions at any time.
Where should we host Poi Passion at the show?
Our shows can be performed inside (with the right safety settings) or outside. Either on the ground or on a stage. We will be able to give you more specific safety requirements if need be, for example will would not perform a fire show on a stage covered in hay......
Please note for obvious reasons fire & glow shows are best at night, or in dark conditions. We have workshop sessions and other entertainment suitable for daytime if required.
