Poi crossed my path in 2001 when I was looking for a gymnastic tool to use for my final dance/gymnastics piece. I was instantly absorbed by it's flow and psychological influence and taught myself most of the basics to be able to choreograph and perform my final piece.

After finishing my degree in 2002 I concentrated on Yoga and did my teacher training in India. I worked as a Yoga teacher in London from 2003 and after the birth of my children concentrated on kids Yoga from 2005.

When I started organizing Poi workshops for Nick Woolsey in 2008 Brighton I rediscovered my passion for poi and started to poi with fire too.

In February 2009 I joined Poipassion and started to perform at various festivals with them over the summer. Being with Poipassion has deepened my love for poi and I realized again that this is what makes me feel happy and fulfilled.
