Worthing Advanced Poi & Fire Choreography - 8 week Course
If you have a complete understanding of Beginners and Intermediate poi moves, you have reached Advanced - so well done on this achievement!
Now if you thought the other two courses where a challenge, then the Advanced Course is really mind-boggling! We get more complicated with our arms and start to use our bodies a lot more. There is a never-ending number of poi moves that continue to advance the art of poi spinning and it will take time and patience to conquer some of the hardest moves, but when you get them ...
... you will feel SO GOOD!
We will work on one new move per week, looking into how each is possible. Be prepared to work hard and have great fun learning the complicated advanced poi movements ...
Moves covered on the course:
- 4 beat weave forwards backwards
- 8 beat weave forwards backwards
- Putting different beat weaves together and turning:
behind the back weave - backwards weave - forwards behind the back weave
- One-handed poi joining all weaves together
- 5 beat corkscrews forward / backward
